Boilers
Boilers come in many shapes and sizes such as Steam Boilers (Water Tube and Fire Tube), Electric Boilers, Hot Water Boilers, Vertical Tubeless and Coil Type Steam Generators.
Refrigeration
Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Vessels can comprise of Liquid Receivers, Surge Tanks, Mufflers and Shell and Tube Condensers, they require routine inspection at varying intervals depending on size and refrigerant class.
Air Receivers
Air Receivers or Compressed Air Tanks are commonly associated with Air Compressors and Pneumatic Systems. As depicted in AS/NZS 3788 Table 4.1 Clause 6 vessels with a pV> 150 MPa.L require 2 yearly inspections by a certified inspector.
Autoclaves
Autoclaves are commonly referred to as Vessels with Quick Actuating Closures such as small Sterilisers in Veterinary Surgeries and Dental Surgeries and can be as large as Curing Ovens used by Glass Manufacturing up to thousands of litres in capacity.
